International Street Dance Workshop in Oxford

Street Dance at Pegasus

On Monday 13th February, EmJ’s Classes at Pegasus will be hosting its first International Street Dance Workshop for young people aged 11+

On Monday 13th February, EmJ’s Classes at Pegasus will be hosting its first International Street Dance Workshop for young people aged 11 years and older with Jerome Esplana (Canada) and Darren Baldric (Germany) at Pegasus.

Emma-Jane Greig, the founder of EmJ’s Classes has been hosting workshops with professional choreographers from across the UK for the past two years. The workshops have provided young people with new opportunities to train and develop their passion for street dance.

The two internationally known dance artists will only be in the UK for a few days before continuing their tour around Europe, and Oxford is one of their venues.

This special class is part of the Dancin’ Oxford 2012 Festival now in its 6th year celebrating local, national and international dance performance and participation.

Emma-Jane Greig said:

“I’m so pleased that after just two years EmJ’s Classes has grown into such a supportive dance community. The fact that we are now hosting two workshops with incredible dancers from Canada and Germany is unbelievable! Taking part in the workshops not only provide young dancers with new skills, but inspiration from artists who have made it in the industry. This is definitely not to be missed.”
