Looking for a new Adventure?

Anyone aged between 14 and 24 can do a Duke of Edinburgh programme and it is a great way to get out there, have fun and develop your skills and confidence.

What is involved?

DofE's are a great way to improve on your existing skills by completing a set of objectives that lead towards a Bronze Silver or Gold Award.

You get the chance to do some volunteering, some physical activity (e.g. sport, dance or fitness) , develop your practical and social skills and develop a personal interests, such as playing the guitar in a  Band.  The awards also include an Expedition where you have the chance to plan, train for and complete an adventurous journey in the UK or abroad.

Time commitment

There is no time limit so doing a DofE can fit around other commitments as long as you achieve the minimum time
required for each level of Award.

From doing a D of E Award you get to develop your own exciting and challenging programme of activities.  You will
get the chance to learn new skills, help others, have fun, make friends and gain a great sense of achievement.

DofE Open Groups

If you've always fancied trying DofE but haven't had access at your school, the DofE Open Groups can help.  Get in touch to find out about programmes in your area and register an interest.
