Oxford Playhouse offers opportunities and positive activities to Oxfordshire Young people through free ticket schemes, placements, workshops and more
Oxford Playhouse and its Burton Taylor Studio present and produce a wide range of live performance. The programme includes the best of British and international drama, family shows, contemporary dance and music, student and amateur shows, comedy, lectures and poetry.
Oxford Playhouse Learning team work with over 15,000 people each year, including many local young people, through post show discussions, workshops, work experience, a resident young people’s theatre company and holiday schemes.

Workshops
During holiday periods, Oxford Playhouse runs a variety of workshops and summer schools to get you speaking, moving, creating and discovering skills you never knew you had. Work Experience/Production Assistant and Performance opportunities
Every year Oxford Playhouse welcomes over forty young people through its doors for a variety of placement, assistant and performance opportunities. If you are interested in finding out about how a professional venue is managed, want to try your hand as a production assistant, or at sourcing props, building sets and creating costumes for a show or dream of taking to the stage yourself, Oxford Playhouse can help you gain experience and discover more about the world of professional theatre.
