Chat online to Connexions
Connexions advisers are now able to offer a live webchat service offering information and guidance to young people.
Following a successful trial, Connexions Advisers are now able to offer information, advice and guidance to Oxfordshire Young People via live web chat. Over thirty advisers, including schools-based Connexions Workers, Opportunities Officers and specialist support staff have been trained so far at offering support by chat.
Webchat offers an instant service to young people wanting support in accessing education, employment and training opportunities. Young people can also talk about other issues, including problems and information about local activities.
Connexions Advisers and Youth information workers are available to chat online to young people weekdays from 10am and 5pm and Tue-Thu 5pm-7pm from 7th June. Out-of-hours, young people can leave a message that will be picked up and answered the following working day.
