Find out what we can do to help providers promote positive activities to young people in Oxfordshire
The Activities Oxfordshire website exists to help put Oxfordshire young people in touch with the positive activities. But we can also help activity providers, by promoting activities and opportunities in other ways.
In addition to promoting activities through this website, we can also promote activities to Youth Workers, Connexions Workers, and other people who work with young people; to other providers through provider updates; through other County Council websites like oxme.info; and through social networking routes like the Activities Oxfordshire Facebook.
Get promoted
Whether you're after a photo feature, news story or being featured on the home page, the way to get your activity featured on www.activitiesoxfordshire.info is the same:
Step 1
Make sure you are listed on www.activitiesoxfordshire.info. Not sure if you are? Do a quick search using the search box at the top right of the page. Don't worry if your listing or contacts are out of date, you can quickly update, using the "suggest update for this organisation" link on your page.
Step 2
Make your page more interesting. This might include adding links, comments or photos, improving your description to include new activities you offer, or just adding a link to your Youtube channel.
Step 3
Send in press releases, news, photos, fliers, programmes or links to the web editor. You can email, phone or write:

Link up with us on Facebook
If you use Facebook, your activity can link up with us there, too. Search for the Activities Oxfordshire Facebook Page and click on "Like". You will then be able to post content on the Activities Oxfordshire wall, and promote your own website, Facebook page or group through this route, too.
Promotional Materials
We also have promotional materials, branded with the Activities Oxfordshire logo and web address, which can be used to promote activities to young people. These include:
There is also a short film promoting Positive Activities which can be used. This was produced by Wolvercote Young Peoples Club. You can watch it below:
